    PC Spec Thread

So, guys, what kind of computer are you using to access AOST? Or what kind of PC are you currently building?

I'm currently on my crappy HP 455 G1 laptop, but I'm slowly building a Desktop. Most parts are coming from Amazon still, but I'm missing 2 things, a GPU and a monitor. A monitor might be coming from Norway soon, because that's where I left my old one, so hopefully my friend will be able to ship it to me, but I still don't have a GPU. Oh, and I don't have a case either. Worst part is, I'm completely out of any budget for a long time >.>".

    Future build:

Gaming system been upgraded with an AMD FX-9370 (was originally running an AMD FX-8350). You can check out the full details at http://valid.x86.fr/w5udjn

My work system is Intel with 3 graphic cards, you can check out the details for that at http://valid.x86.fr/dbevwj (note that the only thing that changed in my work system is that it's now running an SSD and I switched out the RAM since I've been having RAM issue so I'm running less RAM and too lazy to get a new validation done on it).

Is your FX-9370 really underclocked to 1.5GhZ or is just that the C1E doing it's job and you taking a CPU-Z validation at an unfortunate time? Plus, it just says AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series without specifying what card it is.

And as I understand, none of those GPU's on the Intel machine are SLI'able, since they're generations apart, right?

I shall add my spec when I get home but for the moment you can see my work system!
Look in awe of it's power!

It runs at a total of 4.77GHz and don't feel like overclocking it.

In terms of the graphic card, I'm running an R7800, can't remember which exact model but it does have support for crossfire (AMD's version of nVidia's SLI).

    My Current home build

CPU AMD PHENOM II X6 1090T (Upgrading)
CPU Cooler SUPER QUIET TRIPLE COPPER HEATPIPE (Basically a titan cooler but I forget the details)
    Motherboard M4A87TD (Upgrading)
    RAM 8GB KINGSTON HYPER-X GENESIS 1600MHz
    GPU GIGABYTE GTX 770 3X OC 4GB
    PSU CORSAIR 650W
Storage Old SATA II Drives (200GB/500GB) (Upgrading)
CASE COOLERMASTER HAF 922 MID TOWER (Contemplating Changing)

I am going to upgrading a load of stuff starting with CPU & Motherboard I am contemplating going for something like one of the AMD Piledriver FX-8 Eight Core. I am also going to be upgrading the Drives, probably 1 SSD and 1 SATA III, I don't really need mountains of storage as I put stuff on my network using 2TB's RAID Storage. Games are getting bigger and bigger though so can't have to little either.
